Recipe for Marjorie Douglas’ Harlem-Jamaican BBQ Chicken

3 lbs Chicken Parts
1 cup White Vinegar
¼ tsp. Garlic Powder
Black Pepper to taste
1 tsp. Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
¼ tsp. Ground Allspice
1/8 tsp. Paprika
9 oz Kraft Honey Mustard Barbecue Sauce
9 oz Kraft Honey Barbecue Sauce
A Charcoal Grill with coals

1. Wash chicken parts with white vinegar. You may let the chicken parts soak in the white vinegar for 5 minutes. Rinse with water.

2. Combine the dry ingredients to make a dry rub. Sprinkle the dry rub and rub it into each chicken part. Let the chicken marinade for ½ hour.

3. Lay the chicken parts in a large frying pan and add about ½ cup of cold water and cover the pan. Turn on the flame on high. Steam the chicken for about 20 minutes. You are not boiling the chicken; instead, you are steaming the chicken to start the cooking process.

4. Meanwhile, light the coals in your barbeque grill.

5. In a separate bowl, mix Kraft Honey Mustard Barbecue Sauce with Kraft Honey Barbecue Sauce.

6. Arrange the chicken parts on the barbeque grill. Brush on the barbecue sauce mixture throughout the grilling. Test for doneness.
