Rabbi Meir Soloveichik of the historic synagogue Shearith Israel in Manhattan has launched several noteworthy online religious responses in this pandemic times. One of them is just coming out, conversations on “Faith in America.” The series has two meanings, according to Rabbi Soloveichik.
“First: we will consider the current state of religious life in the United States—including the challenges that traditional belief faces in our culture and the enduring vitality of America’s religious communities.
Second: we will discuss faith in the American project itself, focusing on why we should continue to have faith in the American experiment and the covenantal vision of our founders.”
